Commission Artwork Process

The commission process is completed through email or the postal system. Please contact Barbara by email to receive a copy of the commission form. This form can then be printed out and sent by regular mail with your photos, or photos may also be scanned at 200 dpi, saved to a JPEG format, and sent by e-mail. Photos should be as clear as possible, and digital photos should be taken at the highest possible resolution. All artwork is executed using client photos. Your photo will be returned to you when the painting is completed.

A 50% deposit is required before I can start the painting. This is non refundable once the painting is in progress. When the painting is completed, you will be asked to approve the painting by viewing it online. The balance owing is due once you have approved the finished painting, and prior to shipping. The price quoted does not include applicable sales tax, shipping charges or framing costs. A framing service is available upon request through this website.

Once completed, your photos and an Artists Certificate of Authenticity will be shipped to you along with your commissioned painting. Please allow between 8 to 16 weeks for delivery. Commissions are accepted on a first come first serve basis. Please order early, and allow more time for delivery, especially during the holiday season!
